Most people probably wouldn’t call a relationship between an older man and a younger woman a May December romance if the woman is 50 years old or older. Although there is a 20 year age difference a 50 year old woman is considered old and most people would not think of her as being too old for a 70 year old man. In fact some might suggest 50 year old women need to seek out 70 year old men because it will be harder for them to attract men young than that.
